OMAHA, Neb. — An Omaha Public School Board committee signed-off on a plan to install new technology in four more schools on Monday.
Grants from the Sherwood Foundation will pay for the placement of interactive whiteboards.
They’ll be installed in Bancroft, Gomez, Liberty and Miller Park elementary schools.
“I cannot imagine going back to the chalkboard after using this,” second-grade teacher Laura Topf said.
The new tool is called an Activboard.
