San Francisco CBS Anchor Jeff Schaub to MC CTO event

cbsdudeThe Cleantech Open has announced two new speakers, Marc Stanley and Jeffrey Schaub, to its all-star line-up for Tuesday’s Grand Expo and Awards Gala at The Masonic Center in San Francisco. Marc Stanley is deputy director of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Jeffrey Schaub is the Green Beat reporter for CBS 5 KPIX Eyewitness News.

Before coming to NIST, Stanley was the associate deputy secretary of the U.S. Department of Commerce (DoC) by Presidential appointment. He also currently serves as a U.S. governor on the Israel-U.S. Binational Industrial Research and Development (BIRD) Foundation Board of Governors and as the American director on the Trilateral Industrial Development (TRIDE) Executive Committee.

Schaub, a three-time Emmy award winner for his reporting, will act as master of ceremonies. Schaub covers environmental issues that affect Bay Area residents. He has also covered the energy and education beats for the station and has been recognized for his coverage of critical transportation issues, and stories that focus on Bay Area transit, commute, urban planning, and development.
