05.24.2010 – CHICAGO – The 4th Annual Green Festival is underway at Navy Pier this weekend. Its where Governor Pat Quinn signed legislation aimed at encouraging more buildings to go green. The Governor and Mayor cut the opening ribbon and then checked out the latest technology and solutions for a healthier environment. The legislation signed by the governor greenlights a study into the energy performance of state-owned buildings and it is going to be focusing on how to improve the performance of those buildings.
